boston ma fine art film wedding photographyHow do you Book? A signed contract and a retainer fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due prior to your wedding.

How many weddings do I photograph a year? Due to the highly personalized nature of wedding photography, I can only accept 15 couples per year. This ensures that you will receive the very best client experience possible and there’s plenty of time to dedicate to really get to know you better, ensuring your images are perfect for YOU.

Do I work with a second shooter? I’ve been photographing weddings solo since 2008 and am absolutely comfortable getting all the angles/moments that are important to you. However, having an extra set of eyes does come in handy at times! Such as; larger weddings (200+ guests) or multiple locations where you want both parts covered (ie: Groom getting ready or during Cocktail Hour). The top 3 collections do include a second associate photographer. She’s a former bride of mine who loves photography and is beyond sweet. You’ll love her. After the wedding, her photos will be culled and edited, along with mine, to create a seamless cohesion to your finished collection.

How many completed files can you expect? Please expect about 75 finished images per hour of wedding day coverage (with associate shooter). Intimate weddings with just one photographer can expect 50 finished images per hour of coverage.

Are high res files included? Yes, each collection includes your files delivered via download with rights to make reprints. However, please keep in mind, the files aren’t the end-game. Photography is meant to be tangible and your wedding images deserve to be lovingly displayed IRL! You can either order professional prints through your proofing gallery or use the files to make prints on your own. Either way, place them around your home so you’re always reminded of the best day ever! It’s also recommend to make at least two copies in two different physical locations to ensure against loss. As a courtesy, your images are archived in our system for one year.

How can family and friends order prints? An Online Proofing Gallery will be published for you for one year that makes ordering professional prints super easy. Simply share the link with anyone who may be interested in purchasing photos.

What is the photo turnaround time? The final collection of edited images is ready within 8 weeks during wedding season (May-Nov) and 6 weeks in off-season (Dec-April).

Would I travel for your Destination Wedding? Absolutely! The passport is current and will go to the ends of Earth for a good love story! I’ve been lucky enough to photograph nuptials from all around New England (MA, ME, RI, VT, NH) to Key West and even Las Vegas!  There is no travel fee and the only extra costs associated with destination weddings are  travel reimbursement and accommodations for three nights.

What kind of equipment do I use? The professional kind! Nikon bodies with an assortment of lenses and flashes for specific times of the day. I also have several film cameras that I can bring along if you’re interested!

What happens if I’m sick? Knock on wood, a little Dayquil is all I’ve ever needed to take before a wedding thus far! However, if it’s something crazy serious and I physically cannot make it (ie: hospitalization), I’ll reach out to the amazing professional photographer network that I’m part of. This has never happened but, if it ever does, I’m prepared.

Do you have insurance? Yes! I’m insured through Hill and Usher and if your venue needs a copy for liability purposes, I can have my people fax your people right away.
