On a warm, sunny day in August, Nikki and Alex got hitched at the lovely Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley. These two had to go through so much during their wedding planning that being there when everything went so *right* was an honor.
One of my favorite moments was watching Nikki walk towards Alex during their First Look. The train on her dress draped beautifully on the stone steps, somehow making the moment even more poetic. Once he turned around and saw her, they were nothing but smiles for the rest of the day!
While I could go on and on about these two, I’d be remiss to not mention how much great food played a role in this wedding. From the caviar station to the fancy imported prosciutto slicer all the way to the impeccably plated entrees and giant tiered cake created by Alex’s Mom, Lydia Shire of Scampo; these guys weren’t messing around! The key to anyone’s heart is through their stomach and I just may have left mine at this wedding. 😉
Congrats Nikki + Alex!!!
