Brrrr, Boston. We all know you’re beautiful even in the winter… do you really have to go out of your way to prove it? I’ll be seeing you again in the Spring time… til then, I’m staying warm
Oh, the power of the internets. It brings people into our lives who might not ever have been there otherwise and for that I say, “Heck yes, internet!”. A friend of a friend of a client whose engagement session was earlier this Spring (Angie + JD… Holla!) , Steph contacted me about taking her photos and I just knew we’d get along really, really well. I love when clients trust me and let me play creatively… and feed me. A fed photographer is a happy one, let me tell you!
Enough about me and my dietary needs… lets talk about how cute these guys are…
Love knows no height discrimination. Kevin towers over her which makes for some really cute “top o’ the head” kisses. Steph, you are GORGEOUS.
See?!! How cool is that? Being a short chick, I am totally digging their tall/short romance. Plus, I found someone in the whole wide world who I don’t have to get on my tippy toes to photograph! *High Fives* Steph!
When Stephanie contacted me to do her and Kevin’s engagement session as soon as humanly possible, I knew we’d make it work. Who cares if it’s below 30 out… bring along some blankets and you’ll just have to snuggle a little closer to stay warm. Not a bad thing, if you ask me
Frozen Boston Commons pond in the background + adorable lovey-ness in the foreground. I triple dare you not to feel super comfy looking at these…. it’s not possible.
Kevin, you’re a lucky man… your lady is absolutely adorable!
And she’s crazy about you… you can tell.
Tippy toe kisses. So sweet….
What is it about being on ice and hand holding that is so romantic? The reflections, the cracking noises and threat of falling through? A little walk/cautious shuffle on the wild side? Having your sweetie as your only assurance you won’t fall flat on your butt? Whatever it is, we totally carpe diem’ed the Boston Commons ice for our session… and, yes, this is only an option in the winter.
After that, we needed to warm our bones a bit. Dance party to the rescue!
No trees were harmed in the making of this photo. But this one certainly lent us a great photo op. *Le sigh*
Then off for some sunset photos at the Marina Bay dock…
That last photo melts my heart a teeny bit. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.
Thanks S + K for being good sports and feigning warmth all in the name of some great engagement photos! I adore you guys and cannot wait until the wedding!!!!

Much love and warmth,
