Up on tippy toes, I carefully reached above my head to hang the stunning lace wedding dress on the white pipe that (serendipitously) ran directly over the baby blue tufted bed frame. “That is SO Terry!”, exclaimed a bridesmaid as she admired the spot I had chosen to photograph the bride’s dress. Beautiful blue and white vintage wallpaper provided the perfect frame for such a stunning dress and I smiled behind my camera, excited that Terry would also approve.
Sophisticated, classic, naturally elegant; Terry is one of those women that just radiates strength and kindness at the same time. She caught a red eye to Boston for their Engagement Session and proceeded to graciously rock. it. No complaints. She’s the kind of woman that can wear a cable knit sweater and palm tree pajama pants while nursing her baby and still make your breath catch. I lovingly refer to her as my Audrey Hepburn bride and pretty much want to be her when I grow up. 😉
When James walked into that blue room with his eyes closed for the First Look, you could feel the energy in the air. Anticipation, excitement, LOVE. “You can look!”, Terry laughed and when he opened his eyes and focused on her, no one else existed. They came together and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. After they had a moment, their little babe was brought into the room and everything felt so whole. In that quiet moment before all the festivities of the day unfolded, their little family snuggled close and all was right with the world.
From the Inn at Hastings Park in Lexington to Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, these travelers spread their wedding day across the state and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
